RequiresYour own API key

AI that admits when it is guessing.

BillMate can draft an entire bill from a description of the works. It will also tell you, in writing, on the printed document, which of those rates nobody has verified.

Your library is the price basis

Your own rates are sent to the model as authoritative and applied over anything it returns for the same item. The AI fills genuine gaps; it does not overrule you.

Or no rates at all

Choose quantities only and the AI drafts the items and the measure, leaving every rate blank for you to price. Often the most useful mode there is.

Provenance survives export

Every rate is marked by origin on screen, counted in the basis of estimate on the printed bill, and named in the CSV's Rate source column.

What the client actually sees

The basis of estimate prints under the bill, and it counts the rates by where they came from. Nothing else in this category puts that on the document you hand over.

If a bill is mostly AI-priced, the person reading it knows before they act on it. That is the point.

Why we are telling you the weakness of our own feature

Because you are the one signing the bill. Construction prices move with inflation, supply chains and haulage, and no language model knows what happened in your market last quarter. Any tool that hands you an AI rate without flagging it is exposing you to a professional risk it will not be carrying.

BillMate is built the other way round: the AI is the assistant and your rate library is the authority. The whole feature is designed to be switched down to drafting, or off entirely.

It uses your key, not oursYour prompt goes from your device straight to Groq with your own API key. It does not pass through us, because there is no us to pass through.
It is the only part that needs a connectionTurn it off and BillMate is a fully offline tool. Nothing else in the app reaches the network.
It never touches a rate you setAn item you have priced yourself is left exactly as you priced it, whatever the model returns for it.
